Dong Nai worker named among Vietnam’s outstanding workers of 2026

The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has announced a provisional list of 10 outstanding workers proposed for nationwide recognition in 2026. They were shortlisted for their notable achievements in labor and production, contributions to innovation and technical improvements, and active participation in community activities. The commendation ceremony is expected to take place on October 24, 2026.

Dong Nai’s representative is Nguyen Duc Hung, born in 1991, a worker at Chang Shin Vietnam Co., Ltd. and is affiliated with the Dong Nai City Labor Federation through his company's trade union. He is among the workers proposed for national recognition. With more than 15 years at the company, Hung has consistently demonstrated a strong sense of responsibility, strictly followed company rules and regulations, and worked hard to fulfill his assigned duties. He continually seeks to learn, improve his professional skills, and actively participate in emulation movements, helping foster a workplace culture of solidarity, responsibility and efficiency.

In addition to his dedication to his professional duties, Hung actively participates in trade union activities and helps publicize and disseminate information about programs aimed at improving the material and spiritual well-being of union members and workers. Through these efforts, he helps spread awareness of the Trade Union's practical activities and strengthen connections between the Trade Union and its members and workers.
