Taiwan Business Association Dong Nai presents Mid-Autumn Festival gifts to social welfare centers

On September 5, the Taiwan Business Association Dong Nai organized a programme to present Mid-Autumn Festival gifts to six local organizations, including the Dong Nai City Social Work Center and Children’s Support Fund, the city’s Association for the Blind, the Suoi Tien Charity Nursing Home and several pagodas in the city.

At each stop, the association presented gifts and charitable donations worth VND25-50 million. As part of its broader Mid-Autumn Festival activities, it will also distribute more than 100 gift packages, each worth VND500,000, to people facing difficult circumstances across the city. In addition to the Mid-Autumn Festival programme, the association will present bicycles to children in border areas to mark the start of the new school year. The total value of the gifts and charitable donations under the two programmes is nearly VND500 million.

Lee Wei Chun, Chairwoman of the Taiwan Business Association Dong Nai, said the association organizes charitable programmes around the Mid-Autumn Festival and the start of the new school year to support people facing hardship and help bring them a warmer festival and a meaningful start to the new school year. In recent years, the Taiwan Business Association Dong Nai has continued to carry out a range of charitable activities, contributing to social welfare efforts in the city.
