AI robot piloted to assist residents at Dong Nai City Public Administration Service Center

On Wednesday, the Dong Nai City Department of Science and Technology, in collaboration with Lac Hong University and other partners, launched a pilot program for an AI-powered robot designed to assist residents and businesses at the Dong Nai City Public Administration Service Center in Tran Bien Ward.

This trial operation aims to carry out the science and technology task of researching and developing an AI robot system to serve citizens and businesses at the Dong Nai City Public Administration Service Center, to be implemented by the research team from Lac Hong University in coordination with relevant units and businesses.

The goal of this trial phase is to evaluate how well the AI robot meets the professional requirements of the Dong Nai City Public Administration Service Center and to verify the stability of the hardware, software, the artificial intelligence (AI) knowledge base, and the functions serving the people. At the same time, it aims to collect feedback from professional staff to refine data, processes, and interaction scripts; and identify content needing adjustment before deploying the robot for actual service…

The AI robot is equipped with a range of features, including providing guidance on administrative procedures, interacting with users through Vietnamese speech recognition and voice response, displaying information on an integrated screen, offering navigation within the service center, delivering public information, conducting citizen satisfaction surveys, and assisting staff with system operation, administration and handling routine situations.
