Dong Nai collects nearly 10,000 mobile voluntary blood units in first quarter of 2026

According to the Dong Nai Provincial Red Cross Society, the province collected nearly 10,000 units of blood through mobile voluntary blood donation drives in the first three months of 2026.

Specifically, the number of voluntarily donated blood units received by Dong Nai province was nearly 3,500 in January, nearly 2,000 in February, and a high of more than 4,400 in March.

In 2026, Dong Nai was assigned by the National Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation the task of receiving more than 60,000 blood units.

According to Ha Trung Kien, Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Red Cross Society and member of the provincial Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation, the society hopes that residents will continue to uphold the humanitarian spirit of blood donation by actively participating in upcoming voluntary blood donation drives scheduled for 2026.
