Between March 30 and May 30, 2026, educational institutions across Dong Nai Province will simultaneously organize Foreign Language, STEM/STEAM, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Festivals. The initiative aims to improve teaching quality, accelerate digital transformation, and promote the application of AI in schools in line with local conditions.

According to guidance from the Department of Education and Training (DoET), educational institutions will organize a wide range of foreign language activities to strengthen students' communication skills, including public speaking, presentations, storytelling, stage performances, and quiz competitions, ensuring they are appropriate for each school level and group of students. The central goal is to gradually create a learning environment where English is used, thereby making it a second language in schools.

In the STEM/STEAM field, schools will organize experiential activities, model showcases, and student projects. Students will take part in design, manufacturing, programming, and scientific research, applying their knowledge to solve practical problems.

Regarding AI, alongside raising awareness and guiding the use of age-appropriate AI tools, the department emphasizes the importance of integrating ethical education and responsible digital behavior. Schools are required to strengthen measures to prevent misuse of technology, including plagiarism and academic dishonesty.

To ensure effective implementation, the DoET has requested the People's Committees of communes and wards to direct educational institutions in their areas to develop organizational plans. The festival may be organized at the school, inter-school, or commune/ward level and integrated into the unit's regular educational activities. Organizers are required to ensure that all activities are practical, safe, and economical, while avoiding ostentation and formalism.
