On January 29, the delegation of the Provincial Red Cross, Dong Nai Lottery and General Services Company Limited, Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio, Television coordinated with departments, sectors at various levels, and localities to organize the giving of "Compassionate Tet" gifts for the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026 to disadvantaged people in Dinh Quan, Ta Lai, Dau Giay, and Tan An communes.
The delegation presented 600 gifts, each consisting of 500,000 VND in cash. The total value of this gift-giving program was 300 million VND, sponsored by Dong Nai Lottery and General Services Company Limited, for disadvantaged individuals, those in especially difficult circumstances, poor households, and victims of Agent Orange/dioxin.

Ha Trung Kien, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Red Cross, further stated that the Dong Nai Provincial Red Cross plans to organize 10 Compassionate Tet programs, aiming to mobilize 42,000 Tet gifts. At present, the association has mobilized 6,000 Tet gifts, which have been distributed to the Red Cross associations of communes and wards. Each commune and ward receives 400 Tet gifts to present to poor households, near-poor households, disadvantaged households, and residents in remote, isolated, and border areas across Dong Nai province.
