Dong Nai Provincial Charity Association organizes delegation to deliver aid to compatriots hit by natural disasters

On December 6, the working delegation delivering relief (Phase 2) of the Dong Nai Provincial Charity Association departed to support compatriots affected by natural disasters in Thanh Hoa and Ha Tinh provinces.

From December 6 to 13, the working delegation delivers a total of 480 relief packages (each worth 700,000 VND, including 300,000 VND in cash) to residents in the two localities.

From December 27, the delegation will continue delivering 520 relief packages (each worth 800,000 VND) to support residents in Khanh Hoa and Dak Lak provinces.

According to Nguyen Phu Cuong, Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial Charity Association, while organizing delegations to deliver relief packages, the Association continues to receive donations in support of people affected by natural disasters. Contributions can be made directly at the Association’s headquarters at 102 Hung Dao Vuong street, Tran Bien ward, Dong Nai province, or via bank transfer to account number 0481.000793879 at Vietcombank – Dong Nai branch.

Earlier, from November to December 5, the provincial Charity Association received 200 million VND and 7 tons of goods (including rice, instant noodles, fresh milk, clothing, blankets, and other supplies) donated by local residents.
