Trade Union of Changshin Vietnam Limited Company wins first prize at Ao Dai contest

On the evening of October 19, after a day of exciting competition, the final round of the Ao Dai (Vietnamese traditional long dress) and Ao Ba Ba (Vietnamese traditional southern outfit) Contest with the theme "Charming women of the past and present," organized by the Dong Nai Federation of Labor, left a strong impression on union members and workers at units and businesses in the province.

After more than 1 month of launching, the contest attracted 65 teams from grassroots trade unions throughout the province, showcasing the talent, intelligence, and traditional charm of Dong Nai women. After the preliminary round, 30 excellent teams were selected to participate in the final round.

As a result, the Organizing Committee presented 36 prizes, including 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes, 4 fourth prizes, 20 consolation prizes, and 6 secondary prizes. The grassroots trade union of Changshin Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Tan Trieu Ward) won the first prize; the second prizes were awarded to the grassroots trade union of Pou Sung Vietnam Co., Ltd. (An Vien Commune) and the trade union of Longwell Co., Ltd. (Dau Giay Commune).

Speaking at the contest, Bui Thi Bich Thuy, Standing Vice Chair of the Federation of Labor, emphasized that the Ao Dai and Ao Ba Ba Contest is not only a cultural venue and a chance for women to connect and learn from one another, but also contributes to preserving and honoring the traditional beauty of the Ao Dai and Ao Ba Ba, symbols of the gentleness, kindness, and resourcefulness of Vietnamese women. At the same time, it fosters pride, love for the homeland and the country, and a sense of responsibility in preserving national cultural identity in the era of integration.
