Nearly 7,000 students receive policy loans for the 2025-2026 school year

On October 18, Vo Trong Hoa, Deputy Director of the Dong Nai Branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP), stated that under the Student Loan Program, the bank has disbursed 279 billion VND in the first 2 months of the 2025-2026 school year, benefiting nearly 7,000 students. This undertaking brings the total number of students currently receiving policy loans in Dong Nai Province to over 25,100, with a total outstanding balance exceeding 1.6 trillion VND.

In addition, in line with Decision No. 29/2025/QD-TTg dated August 28, 2025, issued by the Prime Minister on credit support for students, master's candidates, and doctoral researchers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields to cover tuition, living expenses, and other study-related costs, the Dong Nai Branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies has disbursed over 2.9 billion VND to support 35 students and postgraduate learners enrolled in STEM programs.

According to Vo Trong Hoa, Deputy Director of the Dong Nai Branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies, individuals seeking information about policy credit programs for students or STEM education credit support can contact their local Savings and Credit Group in villages, hamlets, or residential areas, or visit any VBSP transaction office across the province for detailed guidance.
