“Mid-Autumn Festival for children” program reaches children in Dak Lua commune

On the afternoon of October 2, around 200 children and a large number of residents from hamlet 7, Dak Lua commune attended the “Mid-Autumn Festival for children 2025” program, organized by Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio, Television in coordination with Dak Lua commune, Hanoi - Dong Nai Eye Hospital, VTC Digital Telecommunications One Member Company Limited, C.P. Vietnam Corporation, and Media Tech Company. The program is part of a series of activities aimed at children and residents in remote areas during the 2025 Mid-Autumn Festival.

At the program, doctors and medical staff from Hanoi-Dong Nai Eye Hospital conducted screenings and vision tests, while also providing free eye medication to approximately 200 residents and children in Hamlet 7, Dak Lua Commune. Cases requiring specialized treatment were supported with transportation and treatment costs.

In addition, children and residents in the locality took part in traditional cultural activities such as lion – unicorn – dragon dances, interacting with "Sister Hang Nga" and "Uncle Cuoi," enjoying cultural performances, participating in prize-winning games, and joining in the Mid-Autumn feast.

During the program, the organizers awarded 30 scholarships (each worth 1 million VND) to students who had overcome difficulties and achieved excellent academic results. Additionally, 200 Mid-Autumn Festival gifts, including mooncakes, sweet cakes, and lanterns (each valued at 100,000 VND), were given to children in Hamlet 7, Dak Lua commune.

The “Mid-Autumn Festival for children” program, organized by Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio, Television, aims to promote solidarity, care for needy children and children in remote areas, while providing an educational and entertaining playground to teach traditional culture to children.

To date, the “Mid-Autumn Festival for children” program has reached about 400 children in Loc Hung and Dak Lua communes, with a total value of gifts of about 100 million VND.
