Final round of Dong Nai Innovation and Startup Competition 2025

On October 1, the Department of Science and Technology in Dong Nai Province organized the final round of the Dong Nai Innovation and Startup Competition 2025.

From more than 30 projects submitted to the competition, after the preliminary and challenge rounds, the jury selected the 8 highest-scoring projects to advance to the final round. In the finals, individual authors and author groups presented their projects before the jury and answered questions on related topics.

Projects were evaluated based on the following criteria: originality and creativity, potential for commercialization and growth, level of completion of the business model or plan, and the project’s impact and economic–social significance. These criteria were used to score and identify promising projects for incubation, training, and guidance toward completing their business models.

According to the judges, this year’s competition took place after the former provinces of Dong Nai and Binh Phuoc were merged into the new Dong Nai province, resulting in a greater diversity of projects. Many of the submissions were developed under the green economic model, an approach to economic growth that focuses on local advantages and the application of innovations to enhance production and business efficiency. Some projects demonstrated creativity and showed potential for attracting investment to develop their models further.

The ranking results of the Dong Nai Innovation and Startup Competition 2025 will be announced, and awards will be presented during a series of events at the Dong Nai Province Science, Technology, Innovation, and Digital Transformation Festival 2025, scheduled to take place from October 8 to 10, 2025.
