Dong Nai Provincial Red Cross Society donates VND 2 billion to support disaster-affected residents

From October 22 to 26, the Dong Nai Provincial Red Cross Society organized a delegation to deliver relief gifts to residents in provinces affected by recent natural disasters, including Thai Nguyen, Cao Bang, Lang Son, Nghe An, and Ha Tinh.

As part of the program, the delegation presented cash and relief goods totaling VND 400 million to Thai Nguyen province, VND 300 million each to Cao Bang and Lang Son, and VND 500 million each to Nghe An and Ha Tinh. The funding for this relief effort was mobilized by the Dong Nai Provincial Red Cross Society through contributions from organizations and individuals.

According to the Dong Nai Provincial Red Cross Society, since October 3, it has received approximately VND 4.8 billion in donations, along with goods valued at around VND 1.2 billion, from individuals and organizations supporting disaster-affected residents in localities.

From now until October 31, individuals and organizations wishing to contribute may send donations directly to the Dong Nai Provincial Red Cross Society at No. 03 Hoang Minh Chau Street, Tran Bien ward, Dong Nai province, or via bank transfer to the following account: Dong Nai Provincial Red Cross Society, account number 20251234, VietinBank – Binh Phuoc Branch. Transfer details should include: name of organization/individual + “Join hands to overcome the floods” (Chung tay vuot lu) 2025.
