A flame of warmth in the midst of disaster

Over the past few days, natural disasters have continuously struck the northern provinces such as Thai Nguyen, Cao Bang, Bac Ninh, Lang Son... causing heavy losses in human lives and property. In this difficult time, the whole country witnessed an extremely sacred and touching image: Uncle Ho's soldiers, not afraid of danger, rushed into the flood to save people, supply food, clean up houses, and rebuild people's lives. Feet wading in floodwaters, shoulders burdened with relief supplies, eyes shadowed after sleepless nights... All became beautiful symbols of the sense of responsibility and noble qualities of soldiers in peacetime.

Every natural disaster leaves behind immeasurable losses. Houses are destroyed, fields are devastated, and village roads are submerged in cold water. In such circumstances, the people are not alone. Uncle Ho's soldiers are always the first to arrive, taking the lead in the rescue and relief operations, helping people evacuate from dangerous areas; bringing the elderly and children to safety; delivering each meal, each bottle of water, each blanket to every isolated household.

Many times, the media and social networks have shared touching images: A soldier carrying a baby across a raging current; troops resting on muddy ground after many hours on duty; the whole unit hastily eating a meal in the pouring rain before rushing back to rescue people... Those images not only moved people but also strengthened their faith in the deep bond between the army and the people - a precious tradition that the Vietnam People's Army has built and preserved for the past 80 years.

In the eyes of people in flood-hit areas, soldiers are not only saviors but also the embodiment of faith and hope. The presence of armed forces has eased anxiety and panic during natural disasters. The dedication, resilience, and sense of responsibility of the soldiers not only help stabilize life in the immediate aftermath but also arouse a spirit of solidarity and sharing within the community.

Natural disasters will pass, but what Uncle Ho's soldiers left in the hearts of the people will last forever.
