Exciting activities held to celebrate 96th anniversary of Vietnam Trade Union

(ĐN) - On July 27, to celebrate the 96th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2025), many material and spiritual care activities for union members and workers were enthusiastically and practically organized by Trade Union at various levels in Dong Nai Province.

At Dong Nai Viet Vinh Footwear Co., Ltd. in BinhMinh commune, the grassroots Trade Union coordinated with the company's leaders to organize the 2nd sports festival in 2025. The sports festival attracted nearly 1,000 athletes, competing in 3 events: Tug-of-war, sack race, and relay race.

From early morning, hundreds of workers gathered at the sports festival area amidst cheers and applause. The usual stressful working atmosphere was replaced by an excited and joyful spirit. The competitive events at the sports festival not only brought refreshing laughter but also clearly showed the harmonious coordination among team members.

A representative of the grassroots Trade Union of Dong Nai Viet Vinh Footwear Co., Ltd. said that the sports festival aims to strengthen solidarity, physical training, and teamwork skills for staff and workers; and at the same time create opportunities for connection between workers and businesses and Trade Union organizations. The grassroots Trade Union awarded 14 prizes to teams with excellent achievements at the sports festival.

Previously, the grassroots Trade Union of Pouchen Co., Ltd. in Bien Hoa ward organized the 7th Karaoke Singing Contest for workers in 2025. After the qualifying rounds, the contestants who entered the final round brought attractive performances with themes praising the Party, Uncle Ho, love for the homeland and country, praising the working class and the Vietnam Trade Union. Many performances were well-invested and meticulously prepared with props and costumes to illustrate the songs.

At Jason Furniture Vietnam Co., Ltd. in Binh Phuoc ward, over 5,000 gifts were presented to union members and workers on the occasion of the 96th anniversary of the Vietnam Trade Union and the 5th anniversary of the company's grassroots Trade Union (2020-2025).

In addition, the company's Trade Union organized activities such as: Jason Golden challenge contest - Intellectual and physical companion, honoring inspirational people, giving gifts to union members in difficult circumstances, writing reviews and positive memories about the Trade Union and the company, giving Ao dai - spreading love, and a lucky draw with many attractive prizes.

On this occasion, grassroots Trade Unions at businesses in the province organized visits and gave gifts to excellent staff and workers; gave gifts to union members and workers in the company; and also organized online contests to learn about labor law, the Trade Union Law, and the Social Insurance Law; organized the "Trade Union Meal" program to provide nutritious meals for workers. Through these activities, many meaningful programs were brought to union members and workers, affirming the role and responsibility of the Vietnam Trade Union organization.
