Dong Nai Provincial Steering Committee for the Elimination of Temporary and Dilapidated Houses indicates that by June 2025, Dong Nai had mobilized a total resource of over 91 billion VND from various channels such as: the Fund for the Poor, the Gratitude Fund, budget savings, and especially contributions from businesses and philanthropists to join hands in eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses.

To date, the province has supported the construction and repair of 579 houses, achieving 124.5% of the plan (465 units), exceeding the schedule by 45 days compared to the provincial plan and 6 months earlier than the Prime Minister's directive. Of these, 349 units were newly built and 230 units were repaired, providing solid homes for disadvantaged groups such as: poor households, near-poor households, people with meritorious services, and relatives of martyrs.

The new houses not only meet the "3 hard" standard (hard frame, hard walls, hard roof) but also suit the terrain, customs, and daily life of the people. The program has become a highlight in the province's social welfare work, contributing significantly to the goal of sustainable poverty reduction and spreading the spirit of "mutual support" in the community.
