(ĐN)- On May 14, continuing the program of inspecting the implementation of regulations on occupational safety and hygiene (OSH) in 2025, the inspection team led by Mr. Nguyen Trung Hau, Deputy Head of the Department of Technical and Energy Management, Department of Industry and Trade, inspected occupational safety at enterprises in Long Khanh city.
Specifically, Fullway Company Limited currently has over 1,000 employees. At the time of inspection, the company had not yet developed a plan, hung banners, and slogans to promote and respond to the OSH Action Month in 2025.
The company had not yet classified workers doing heavy, hazardous, or dangerous work according to regulations. In addition, some equipment with strict labor safety requirements has expired its inspection in October 2024. Pressure equipment users have not been trained and granted operating certificates.
At United Jumbo Company Limited (specializing in the production of garden tools, screws, and hand tools), there are nearly 1,600 employees. The enterprise uses 58 labor safety equipment that has been inspected and reported to the relevant authorities.
The company has arranged for 48 people to work in labor safety and established a network of safety and hygiene workers; has developed operating regulations and allowances for network members. At the same time, it has developed labor safety regulations, machine and equipment operating procedures, and has posted and placed danger warning signs at the workplace according to regulations.
Through the inspection, the delegation requested that enterprises strengthen the implementation of measures to control and prevent occupational safety and health risks; organize health care activities, periodic health check-ups and occupational safety and health training for workers.
Along with that, regularly inspect and improve working conditions, monitor the working environment, inspect equipment with strict requirements and take measures to overcome unsafe working conditions.
