Workers' Month 2025, with the theme "Vietnamese Workers Pioneering into a New Era," took place from May 1 to 31, leaving many positive impressions on union members and workers in Dong Nai province.

Bui Thi Nhan, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial Labor Federation, presents awards to outstanding union members in 2025.

Activities caring for union members and workers were widely implemented from the provincial to grassroots levels with the motto "Each grassroots trade union (CĐCS), one member benefit." Accordingly, thousands of workers have enjoyed many welfare programs to overcome difficulties.

According to the Provincial Labor Federation, with the motto of focusing on the grassroots and for the benefit of union members, activities caring for union members and workers have created a wide spread and have been concretized through practical and meaningful actions. Timely support and attention from the Trade Union organization are motivations for workers to feel secure, commit, contribute, and together with units and businesses overcome difficulties and develop sustainably.

A highlight was the activity of visiting, meeting, and giving gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances, those who suffered work accidents, or had serious illnesses. Among these, the federation visited and gave nearly 300 gifts to disadvantaged workers with a total amount of nearly 600 million VND; the direct superior trade unions at grassroots levels in units with many workers organized meetings and gave over 1,000 gifts worth nearly 630 million VND. The Trade Union built and repaired 3 "Trade Union homes" for union members with housing difficulties.

According to Trade Union officials, the attention of the Trade Union organization during Workers' Month 2025 aims to effectively and well care for the lives of union members and workers. The joy and excitement of thousands of workers are motivations for the Trade Union organization to continue to have many more meaningful welfare programs throughout 2025.

Trade Union levels proposed to employers to organize appreciation and thanks to workers; actively engage in dialogue, listen to their thoughts and aspirations, and promptly resolve difficulties and problems that workers are concerned about. In addition, Trade Union levels implemented many new models and good practices, creating conditions for workers to participate in recreational activities, health check-ups, free medicine distribution, lucky draws, discounted shopping, etc.

In parallel, cultural and sports activities were promoted to practically care for the spiritual lives of union members and workers. Among these, many activities were organized such as: football, volleyball, tug-of-war, sack race, "Workers' Voice" singing contest, cross-country running, etc., attracting over 7.6 thousand athletes from trade unions to participate. The Trade Union also awarded many prizes to encourage workers' participation in training and competition.
