On May 19, the district’s first SH project—iDT Apartment Complex—was officially launched in Long Thanh Town. Covering over 3.1 hectares, the project includes more than 600 smart-designed apartments, ranging from 48–70m², and is expected to be completed by the end of 2026.
Deputy Minister of Construction Bui Xuan Dung urged local authorities to streamline urban planning, allocate accessible land, and simplify investment procedures. He emphasized that SH projects must meet quality standards comparable to commercial housing and ensure transparency for easier public access.
In March 2025, the province approved two more SH projects:
- Phuoc Binh: Over 1,600 apartments on 10 hectares, estimated investment over VND 2.3 trillion
- An Phuoc: About 1,500 apartments on 7.3 hectares, including 350 commercial units, with VND 1.7 trillion in investment
Both are scheduled for completion by Q2/2029.
Two additional SH projects will utilize 20% of land from commercial housing projects in Loc An and An Phuoc communes. Investors are ready and seeking provincial support to fast-track legal procedures.
With major developments like Long Thanh International Airport and new industrial zones underway, Long Thanh is experiencing a surge in population and housing needs. These SH projects reflect the province’s commitment to building 10,000 SH units by 2025 and 50,000 units by 2030.
