Dong Nai Trade Union admits nearly 3,000 new members during Workers' Month

(ĐN)- On May 20, the Provincial Labor Federation announced that from the beginning of May until now, the province has established 14 new grassroots trade unions and developed nearly 3,000 members. Currently, the entire province has over 3,000 grassroots trade unions with nearly 700,000 members.

Previously, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation had implemented a plan on carrying out the peak month for developing members, establishing grassroots trade unions, introducing outstanding members for the Party to consider admitting, and for trade unions at all levels to innovate the content and forms of propaganda and mobilization, raising the awareness of employers and employees about the benefits and effectiveness when a trade union organization is established.

Trade unions at all levels introduced 62 members for the Party to consider training and admitting. Among them, 11 comrades are chairpersons or vice-chairpersons of grassroots trade unions in non-state enterprises, and 8 are direct production workers.

According to the Provincial Labor Federation, in 2025, the Dong Nai Trade Union is assigned a target by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to develop 60,000 members. This is an important task that requires the determination of the entire provincial trade union system.
