(ĐN)- Dong Nai recorded an additional 452 COVID-19 infections in the past 24 hours to 7am on August 30, bringing the province's total number of infections to 23,179, the provincial Centre for Disease Control announced.
Of those, 4 cases were found in the community and the rest in locked down areas and quarantine sites.
Bien Hoa city posted the most new cases with 273, followed by Nhon Trach with 153, Long Thanh (43), Thong Nhat (4) and Cam My (1).
There were 8 deaths recorded on the same day, pushing the total death toll to 194. The number of recoveries stood at nearly 10,000.
So far, a total of 753,694 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19 in Dong Nai, with 55,689 people getting full two shots, accounting for 33.4 percent of the province’s population ages 18 and above.
