At the event, representative of the Kim Oanh Group presented five ventilators 1,000 N95 face masks and 200 protective gears to Dong Nai General Hospital and Thong Nhat General Hospital, worth a total of VND1.150 billion.
This was the second time the group had donated ventilators to the province. Earlier, it presented ten ventilators, costing VND1.9 billion.
Addressing at the event, Deputy Director of the province’s Health department Nguyen Van Binh thanked the group for assisting the province in COVID-19 prevention and control, adding that the province has put into use seven field hospitals, and will put into use the eighth one in a soonest time. The field hospitals are in need of a lot of medical equipment and other materials, he added, hoping that the Kim Oanh Real Estate Group would continue its strong development, caring well its employees as well as doing well in preventing COVID-19 pandemic.
After the ceremony, the ventilators were transferred to Dong Nai General Hospital and Thong Nhat General Hospital for treating COVID-19 patients.
