Average per capita income in rural areas has reached VND65 million. Meanwhile, the rate of poor households has brought down in the areas.
Currently, many communes in Dong Nai are making efforts to complete advanced criteria of the new-style rural area building program. Accordingly, 12 communes have completed 15 – 18 advanced criteria of the program.
The communes also look at improving rural socio-economic infrastructure in line with urban development, enhancing the quality of healthcare and education services, and protecting the environment.
