(ĐN) - On January 10, Trang Bom district Labour Federation organized a get-together for 245 members with difficult circumstances in the locality. On this occasion, the organizer presented Tet gifts worth VND500,000 each to the participants.
Earlier, at Ho Nai industrial park, the Federation organized a special art performance to welcome the coming Lunar New Year festival for workers who could not return home for Tet. During the event, more than 700 poor laborers received gifts valued at VNd500,000 each and participated in a lucky draw program with valuable prizes including television, refrigerator and fan, etc.
According to Chairman Le Duc Thuy, the federation gave 1,628 gifts and 1,252 coach tickets totaling more than VND2 billion for poor migrant workers to go back home for the Tet.
