(ĐN)- On November 12, Dong Nai Red Cross Association in cooperation with Taekwang Vina Company held a ceremony to present 200 Tet gifts to local poor residents, AO/dioxin victims, policy families and those living with fatal diseases.
Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Hoa Hiep of the provincial People’s Committee attended the event.
These gifts, worth VND1 million each, aim to help the beneficiaries enjoy a warm and happy Lunar New Year (Tet) festival.
In the coming days, the association and the company will continue to give 300 gifts to difficult residents in Long Thanh district and Bien Hoa city.
Earlier, the organizers also visited and wished a happy Tet to two Vietnamese heroic mothers Do Thi Man and Do Thi Phong in Tan Hiep and Hiep Hoa wards, Bien Hoa city.
