Dong Nai holds Festival for Youths of Ethic Minorities and Religions

(ĐN)- More than 400 youths took part in Dong Nai Festival for Youths of Ethic Minorities and Religions held by the provincial Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Association of the province on Friday at Choro Ethic Cultural Long House Complex in Vinh Cuu district.  

 

(ĐN)- More than 400 youths took part in Dong Nai Festival for Youths of Ethic Minorities and Religions held by the provincial Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Association of the province on Friday at Choro Ethic Cultural Long House Complex in Vinh Cuu district.  

At the event, 73 typical young people were honored for their outstanding achievements in studying, production and in youth activities.

The festival also featured a contest on beauty of local ethic minorities, exchange of gongs performance, folk games, art performance, etc.

Dong Nai is currently home to 61,000 youths of ethic minorities, representing of 7.3 percent of the province’s total young people, and more than 345,000 youths of religions, representing of 41 percent. The annual festival aims to boost relations between youths of ethic minorities and religions.
