Two people were injured in a fire that broke out at a petrol station in Dong Nai provincial Bao Hoa commune on Wednesday.
The blaze erupted when a petrol tanker truck was transfering fuel to a storage tank at Nam Phương Long Petrol Station.
The fire quickly spread to the truck.
Dozens of firefighters were sent to stamp out the fire, which took them till 10pm.
A representative of Dong Nai General Hospital said the two victims had suffered 80 per cent burns and had been transferred to Cho Ray Hospital in HCM City for emergency treatment.
Dang Ngoc Duc, Chairman of Bao Hoa Communual People’s Committee, said they were working with provincial police to investigate the cause of the fire.
