In addition, Tha was also rewarded a certificate of merit and VND3.6 million by Bien Hoa city People’s Committee, and a certificate of merit and VND207,000 by Bien Hoa city’s Buu Hoa ward People’s Committee.
Police said that on November 28, Tha found a bag of money containing VND100 million on the floor of Buu Hoa market. Right after that, she turned over the bag to the Buu Hoa ward’s police, who later found the owner of the bag after an investigation and returned the money to the owner.
As known, Tha, who doesn’t own a house and lives in a pagoda, works as a cleaner at the local pagoda. Despite of her difficult circumstance, she volunteers to take care of a five-year-old boy with congenital heart disease.
