(ĐN)- Some 240 officials and soldiers from Dong Nai province’s Military Headquarters gathered to start their community work at Phu Ly commune, Vinh Cuu district.
Particularly, they built 600 meters of traffic roads, visited and presented gifts, provided free medical check-ups and medicines to 200 poor persons, ethnic minority people and policy families.
The program aims to mark the 74th founding anniversary of Vietnam People’s Army and the 29th anniversary of All-People Defence Festival (December 22).
On this occasion, the 696 Naval Base also cooperated with local authorities in Nhon Trach district’s Phu Dong commune to collect garbage at public places and upgrade nearly 500 meters of traffic roads.
