(ĐN)- The Government has issued Decree 157/2018/ND-CP regulating the regional monthly minimum wage for those working in businesses.
Accordingly, as of January 1, 2019, regional minimum wage levels will be increased as follows: Region 1 – VND4.18 million (up VND200,000), Region 2 – VND3.71 million (up VND180,000), Region 3 – VND 3.25 million (up VND160,000) and Region 4 – VND 2.92 million (up VND160,000).
Regional monthly minimum wage will be applied to labourers working under contracts in Vietnam.
In Dong Nai, Region 1 covers the districts of Nhon Trach, Long Thanh, Vinh Cuu, Trang Bom, Long Khanh town and Bien Hoa city. Region 2 includes the districts of Dinh Quan, Xuan Loc and Thong Nhat. Meanwhile, Region 3 comprises the remaining districts of Tan Phu and Cam My.
