At the event, a total of ten prizes were granted to outstanding reporters. Six of the winning works wrote about environmental protection and the remaining four on gender equality.
Accordingly, journalist Phuong Lieu from Dong Nai Newspaper won C prize for her work entitled 'Renewable energy: Chances and challenges’.
The award was launched five months ago, receiving 503 works from 173 reporters from 142 press agencies nationwide.
Also at the ceremony, the organizers launched the Journalism for Sustainable Development Awards 2019.
