In her speech at the ceremony, Vice Chairwoman of Dong Nai People’s Committee Nguyen Hoa Hiep affirmed that Vietnam and Cambodia are the wo negboring countries with long-standing relationship history, adding that the friendship between the two countries has been marked by many historic meaningful events.
Maintaining the traditional relationship, the Party Committee, government and people in Dong Nai has carried out many practical activities, contributing to elevate the friendship to a new high for the benefit of the two peoples.
Cambodian Consul General Im Hem expressed deep gratitude for the great help that Vietnam gave to Cambodia during the country’s national struggle for liberation and defence.
He also expressed his hope that the friendship between the two countries will be always consolidated by generations of Vietnamese and Cambodian leaders and peoples.
