(ĐN) - On October 31, Thong Nhat Red Cross Chapter in cooperation with Cho Ray Regional Blood Transfusion and Haematology Centre launched a voluntary blood donation program at Mien Dong University of Technology (MUT).
The meaningful event attracted the participation of more than 250 volunteers who are MUT’s teachers and students, local officials and people. Among them, 155 were selected to donate blood after conduction the screening tests.
The organizers collected 155 units of blood. Since the beginning of this year, Thong Nhat district organized six blood donation programs and collected 1,092 blood units.
