(ĐN)- Dong Nai-based Nguyen Hue University under the Ministry of Defense on September 14 organized a ceremony to start new school year 2018-2019.

The ceremony was attendee by Major-general Ngo Minh Tien, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army, Chairman of Dong Nai People's Committee Dinh Quoc Thai, along with the school’s management board, cadres and lecturers.
Last school year, Nguyen Hue University provided training to more than 5,800 students, including 222 students from Cambodian Royal Army. The university accomplished its education and training missions and other assigned tasks.
In the new academic year, the university plans to improve education and training quality, and strengthen its capacity for lecturers and management officers.
Speaking at the ceremony, Major-general Ngo Minh Tien highly appreciated the achievements made by the university over the past time, asking the university to continue to promote its tradition, continue efforts to fulfill its duties assigned by the Party, State and the Ministry of Defense.
