(ĐN) - On August 27, Thong Nhat district Women Union handed over two charity houses to the families of Ms Le Thi Huong and Ms Nguyen Thi Dan in Gia Tan 3 commune.
These houses are built at a total cost of VND140 million, of which Dong Nai branch of BIDV donated VND30 million, the remaining was funded by local authorities and contributed by the families.
On this occasion, the union and local authorities presented gifts to the families.
Since the beginning of this year, the union raised more than VND160 million to build 5 charity houses for its members with difficult circumstances.
