(ĐN)- Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) Nguyen Thi Thu Hong has visited Dona Standard Vietnam Company’s kindergarten in Xuan Loc Industrial Park, on the occasion of its new school year opening ceremony.
At the kindergarten, Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Thu Hong presented a set of outdoor toys worth VND100 million to the school’s staff and children.
The kindergarten, built by Dona Standard Vietnam for its workers’ children and be put into use in 2016, comprises 32 classrooms, 3 functional rooms, a kitchen and an amusement area. The school is now home to more than 900 kids.
In the 2017-2018 school year, Dona Standard Vietnam Company’s kindergarten was recognized by the Ministry of Education and Training (MoET) as one of 186 pre-schools nationwide using child-centered education approaches.
