(ĐN)- Dong Nai Military Headquarters has suggested High Command of Military Zone 7 to submit to the State President for conferring the People’s Armed Forces’ Hero title to revolutionary soldiers of Tan Hiep Prison for their great contributions to the resistance war against American invader.
Tan Hiep Prison was one of the biggest prisons during the resistance war against American invader in the South. The prison is the location of a historical insurrection of destroying the prison on 2nd December, 1956, liberating nearly 800 revolutionary prisoners, and 20 of them had sacrificed with great fortitude.
