(ĐN)- In the first three months of this year, Tan Phu district has devised a number of measures to carries out sustainable poverty reduction program. Particularly, it handed over breeding cows and goats to needy households in Phu Ly, Vinh Tan, Vinh An and Ma Da communes.
Besides, the district also provided preferential loans totaling VND390 million to 26 poor households, help them to overcome difficulties and escape poverty.
Since the beginning of this year, the district solved jobs for 600 labourers, fulfilling 30 percent of the year’s plan, organized vocational training courses for rural laborers and demobilized soldiers.
