(ĐN)- Over the past five years, Hoang An pagoda in Bien Hoa city’s Hiep Hoa commune raised more than VND4.86 billion from Buddhist followers and sponsors for social and charitable activities.
Accordingly, the pagoda sent delegations to provide free medical check-ups and medicines to disadvantaged people, presented wheelchairs and gifts to AO/dioxin victims and studious poor students, helped needy patients to get free eye and heart surgeries, support people affected by natural disasters, contributed to Vietnam’s sea and islands fund.
