(ĐN) - A wide range of activities will be held during the 2017 Youth Month in March with the aim to encourage young people across Dong Nai to take action for the community.
With the theme “Dong Nai youth joins hands to develop a civilised province and new rural areas”, the Month will focus on new rural areas construction, environment protection, and climate change response, making the city cleaner, more modern and civilized.
On this occasion, Dinh Quan district’s Youth Union presented 15 scholarships worth VND500,000 each and 1,000 notebooks to disadvantaged students, provided free medical check-ups and medicines to residents. The Youth Unions in Vinh Cuu, Nhon Trach, Cam My also awarded scholarships, visited Vietnamese heroic mothers, handed over charity houses to needy people.
Moreover, local sponsors gave 50 gifts, scholarships, milk and health insurance cards to students with difficult circumstances.
