(ĐN)- Dong Nai University’s Students’ Union on Monday celebrated the 67th Vietnamese Students’ Traditional Day (January 9).
At the program, outstanding students were honored with the Sinh Viên 5 Tot (Five-Virtue Student) Award. The union provided bus tickets for 12 poor students to return home for Tet, presented 32 gifts to needy students.
Earlier, on January 8, the union launched community works at Bien Hoa Orphanage.
Lac Hong University’s Students’ Union also organized the final round of “LHU’s got talent” contest, art performance and honored students with the Sinh Viên 5 Tot (Five-Virtue Student) Award.
The same day, a ceremony was held at Dong Nai Medical College to mark the 67th Vietnamese Students’ Traditional Day. Students’ Union of the college presented 10 scholarships worth VND1 million each to poor students. It also held a program themed “Beloved Tet market” to raise money for poor students, helping them return home for Tet.
