Efforts to bring warm Tet to poor people

 (ĐN)- On January 9, Dong Nai Customs Department in cooperation with the provincial Fatherland Front Committee presented 200 Tet gifts worth VND500,000 each to poor households in Trang Bom district. Earlier, the department also gave 424 gifts to disadvantaged people in Dinh Quan and Vinh Cuu districts.

(ĐN)- On January 9, Dong Nai Customs Department in cooperation with the provincial Fatherland Front Committee presented 200 Tet gifts worth VND500,000 each to poor households in Trang Bom district. Earlier, the department also gave 424 gifts to disadvantaged people in Dinh Quan and Vinh Cuu districts.

On the same day, HCM city-based Masan Company handed over 1,000 gifts valued at VND300,000 each to Dinh Quan, Tan Phu, Xuan Loc districts.

On January 8, former Vice Chairwoman Dang Thi Kim Nguyen of the provincial People’s Committee led a delegation to provide 300 gifts and free medical check-ups to 582 people in Dinh Quan district. 

Phat Hoa pagoda in Xuan Loc district’s Suoi Cao commune handed 100 Tet gifts to poor and near-poor households in the locality. Earlier, Ben Tre pagoda in the district also gave 82 gifts worth VND500,000 each to local blind people.

Dong Nai branch of Kien Long Bank donated to offer 100 gifts totaling VND25 million to poor families in Hiep Hoa communes.

Trang Bom district’s Labour Union plans to present 900 gifts and 100 free bus tickets to poor workers.
