Earlier, the delegation had visited and presented Tet gifts to officers and soldiers stationed at DK1/10 Ca Mau platform.
As scheduled, the delegation will carry to officers and soldiers stationed at offshore marine defence platforms at Radar 590 Station, Con Dao Border Guard Force and pay tribute to heroic martyr Vo Thi Sau at her tomb before returning to the mainland.
At the same time, the delegation led by Colonel Nguyen Quoc Van, Deputy Political Commissar of the Naval Region 2 Command presented gifts to soldiers at Que Duong, Huyen Tran and Phuc Tan platforms.
As of January 9, the ships have brought Tet gifts to 14 platforms. Departing on January 4 at Naval Region 2, the two ships have been carrying hundreds of tons of daily necessities and specialties nationwide donated by individuals, agencies and organisations from across the country to help the officers and soldiers enjoy a Vietnamese traditional Tet.
