Prolonged rains and floods in recent days have hit the northern central region hard.
Earlier, the province handed over VND2.5 billion to the central flood-hit provinces of Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Ha Tinh and Nghe An to help the localities to overcome flood consequences.
Currently, the committee continues calling on organizations and individuals across the province to help the victims of the floods.
