(ĐN)- In the first nine months of this year, members from Dong Nai province War Veterans’ Association contributed VND2.5 billion, nearly 3,000 working days and more than 200 sq.m of land to build bridges and rural roads.
Since the beginning of the year, the veterans have tried their best to help each other to develop production. Accordingly, rich members supported fertilizer, seedlings and breeding animals for poor veterans, provided preferential loans totaling VND5.4 billion to members with difficult circumstances to develop household economics, improve their lives.
In this period, the association has made efforts to reduce the number of poor and near-poor households, create jobs for its members and their children.
