(ĐN)- The HCM City – Long Thanh – Dau Giay Expressway is being equipped with Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) under the financial assistance of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), according to the Vietnam Expressway Corporation (VEC), investor of the expressway.
(ĐN)- The HCM City – Long Thanh – Dau Giay Expressway is being equipped with Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) under the financial assistance of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), according to the Vietnam Expressway Corporation (VEC), investor of the expressway.
As scheduled, once ITS are officially put into operation in early next year, VEC will bring out policies, methods to collect fees reasonably, fairly and effectively, including the sales of monthly and quarterly tickets, for vehicle owners and businesses.
Intelligent Transport System (ITS) is a new approach to the transportation problems such as congestion, traffic accident and air pollution. Unlike the conventional measures of physical improvement, it utilizes information and communication technologies to promote efficient, convenient and safe traffic.
