(ĐN)- The Fire Fighting and Prevention Police Office No.1 on April 8 held a fire fighting and rescue exercise at Hoa An market in Bien Hoa city.
The fire drill conducted was of a mock fire that broke out at a kiosk and quickly spread to other areas. Three fire-fighting trucks and more than 20 fire-fighters were sent to the scene and stamped out the simulated fire after 15 minutes. The firefighting force also approached the market and rescued the ‘victims'.
The maneuver was aimed not only to raise public awareness about fire fighting but also to give practical situation for rescue forces to improve their skills.
