(ĐN)- A power saving programme was launched on April 8 by Dong Nai Power Company and Department of Industry and Trade to raise public awareness about the importance of saving electricity.
The event was attended by Vice Chairwoman Bui Thi Lieu of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee.
Over the past five years, campaigns to encourage households, enterprises and agencies to use energy economically and efficiently have worked well with 976 million kWh of electricity saved, contributing to ensure stable electricity supply for production and daily life.
On this occasion, 283 collectives and individuals have been honored for their achievements in power saving activities in 2011-2015 period.
