(ĐN)- Dong Nai Police’s Entrepreneurs Fund for Public Security on April 7 held a meeting to review its activities over the past five years. Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai of Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee attended the meeting.
During the last five years, the Fund raised more than VND11.7 billion from 241 entrepreneurs and enterprises to help local released prisoners. Accordingly, the fund provided preferential loans totaling over VND16.3 billion to some 700 beneficiaries across the province to help them develop household economy and stabilize their lives.
In the coming time, the fund will continue calling for more donations from enterprises and individuals to assist released prisoners to reintegrate into the community.
On the occasion, the provincial People’s Committee awarded certificates of merit to 37 collectives and 52 individuals for their contributions to the Fund.
