(ĐN)- On the occasion of the New Year, Trang Bom district-based Tay Hoa commune’s Fatherland Front Committee handed over a charity house to the family of Mr Ho Tan Long, a poor Choro ethnic minority household in Nhan Hoa village.
The house is built on an area of some 30 sq.m with a total cost of VND52 million. Of the total, the Front donated VND32 million, the remaining was contributed by the family and his neighbors.
On this occasion, the Front awarded 16 scholarships worth VND300,000 each to local studious poor students.
