Speaking at the launching ceremony, Vice Chairman Tran Van Vinh of the provincial People’s Committee urged Bien Hoa city and other localities to take more drastic measures to ensure traffic safety. Accordingly, more inspections should be conducted to deter violations of traffic laws, especially at “black points” of traffic accidents.
Enhancing public awareness of traffic safety culture is imperative to ease congestions and reduce traffic accidents, Vice Chairman said at the event.
In 2016, Dong Nai strives to reduce the number of traffic accidents and fatalities by 5-10 percent.
